It's almost the middle of March and you're just getting around to taking her out to dinner for the first time?

What part of "I took her to dinner in the porsche for the first time this year" do you not understand? I've been in physical therapy for a broken ankle and unable to drive the car until now. Your implication that she's "not been to dinner" at all until now says all we need to know about how you love stirring the pot... Really weak sauce...

I've never driven a 7 turbo, but I too have thought about "trading up."

It might be a good idea to do a side-by-side comparison before you decide.

Went to the movies Friday night, and parked right next to a white 997 turbo. I should have taken a picture. The 997 looks bigger - maybe it was an optical illusion due to the 7's 19" wheels v. my winter 993 twist set-up - but it looked bigger, and sitting in the car looking over, the roofline looked higher. Bigger is not better IMO.

Also, I was just reading a review in Excellence on the 997.2 turbo, and it started with a reminder that the magazine had panned the 997.1 turbo.

And FWIW, I'm keeping my 6 (at least for now).
