If you ever have trouble finding it and it would be cheaper for me to buy it for you and ship it to you then I have no problem helping out. The other option is if you know anybody that comes to the track (VIR) when we are there you can always get them to bring it back for you.

twice the price...and you are concerned because you do annual oil changes?

Man, this is so not the car for you...

(I refuse to constructively participate in an oil thread.)

I might be taking a ride down to Sebring soon. I'll stop by Dell's to check out his non modded car
I use 20-50 vr1 in my big turbo big boy but I might do something lighter for track and change more often. Too many oil debates and he said she said etc

Are there different variations of 5W-50. Here is what I have stocked in my garage.

Again, why nickel and dime on maintenance of the most expensive part of your car?
Because I am cheap!

I freely admit it. I am a cheap bastard. Luckily I am also pretty good with a wrench so I do almost all the maintenace myself.

That must be the south of the border version as the label is in Spanish and I see Frissen spends some time in Puebla , Mexico.

More importantly, there is an f1 car on the spanish labeled bottle instead of a Nascar symbol. His oil must be better than our's...

So I did a little digging. The label says "extended performance" which is another line of Mobil1 oil (Mobil1 EP) designed for longer service intervals. Not sure of the formulations though.
