I have been thinking of changing the clutch in my 01 996 Turbo, the car is targeted to 600 hp.
Does anyone have experience with the Sachs Stage 2 clutch?
Any other indication would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I have the GT3 Sprung hub clutch component from Porsche with Clutch Masters Proprietary FiberTuff material on it. I had their Kevlar material and found that as the material got hot, it made for lots of chatter and would stick sometimes.
I "Had" two Sachs organic clutches (One was the stage 2 and one was supposed to be "stage 3") in the span of 10 miles and neither would hold the power and I'm at about 550Whp. Your best bet is to just go to Kevin at UWM. Kevin pioneered the kit that he sells, and that clutchmasters builds for his kit. It holds a tremendous amount of torque, which is the real killer of clutch discs. Mine has been in the car since Feb. 2010 and has had zero issues.

Mike is correct, the Sach's Stage XYZ kits do fail with engines that have alot of torque..
Clutchmasters mods for to Sach's pressure plates with the GT3 sprung disk is my recommendation.
If you keep your dual mass the cost is $1645.00 For the LWFW kit the cost is $1,975.00
I need to add this>> The nice thing about my clutch systems, is that they are rebuildable. Clutch kits that I have sold years ago to customers on this forum are coming back for the refresh for 1/2 the original investment. I have a customer that is extremely hard tracking his 993TT (3rd rebuild in 9 years).
