Default Springfield Missouri PPI referral

I have a friend looking at an 02 Turbo. Car is located in Springfield Missouri. Can someone recommend a shop there for a PPI. Thanks.

Is the Springfield Porsche dealer available? I was there with my 03 Turbo early last Dec. and was treated pretty darn good. Turbo in for an inspection/wheel alignment check, though not a PPI.

Does the dealer have any connection (fudiciary interest) in the 02 Turbo's sale?

Remember the 02 Turbo is just a used car so a thorough used car inspection should turn up anything that would warrant the car's rejection.

But for a specific recommendation sorry I have nothing.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Thanks for the info. Don't know if he looked at a dealer or not.

Is this a Rennlist owner ? or does anyone know the vehicle ?

Car has been listed on local craigslists here for a few months at 49.9k Seems like a smoking price for the car, but not sure why it hasn't sold yet.

It's got a theft recovery on the Carfax .
Not sure that would deter me if a PPI came back clean

Not sure I'd go to the expense/trouble of a PPI with that theft recovery on the CarFax report.

Sometimes a theft recovery finds the vehicle just low on gasoline.

Other times they're found stripped.

Or wrapped around a tree.

Unless you can find out what condition the car was in when it was recovered you are (probably) better off walking away from the car.

Sincerely,

Macster.

It also mentions a "theft record" on the Autocheck report on ebay. Not sure how the Autocheck score came back as a 97 with a theft. That's strange...

If the car came back clean (body damage etc.) and you got a decent deal, why not? Full price, no, but if someone jacked the car and then it was recovered with no issues who cares? Just my .02.

As long as the PPI works and the price is good (below its comparables) then do it. I love the color!

Scott B,

Did you ever get any further information on a good specialist shop for a PPI in Springfield, MO by any chance?

Thanks,
