And by the way, I do recommend putting a small "dot" of anti-sieze on the first thread of the spark plug. It does ruin your day when you pull a plug out with a few aluminum threads attached.

The reason why Porsche does not recommend the compound is to prevent any interuption or reduction of "ground" I recommend a small dab or dot placed on the first thread. It's enough to do the job and to protect your ignition cycle without misfires.

Tachi, Permatex silver/aluminum based anti-sieze is good.
