It was an 06. I am assuming that is a 996 turbo. Any way I watch it all the time and always wait for a porsche to roll up.
Then it happens red 06 911 turbo rolls up.. WOW I say lets see what it can do. The guy gets out of the car to tell what he has done to the car and he is 81 yrs old. I say oh boy, here comes a high 13 second quarter.
He says hes got upgraded turbos and exhaust. I assume a tune also. All the guys on the shop have him at mid to high 12's. I say 12.7
He gets in the car and blast down the quarter at 11.00 flat at 130mph.
Man I thought that was great for his age. Never though I would see that time.
Then a young guy with a twin turbo Gilardo gets up ( 650 rwhp ), runs a 11.70. Man if they would have gone head to head the old man would have whooped his ***.

Er um... 06, don't know nothin about an 06... 996TTs went from 01-05. Don't think there was an 06... maybe an 07... Never seen anything really cool like that on passtime...

The 06's are the 997 Turbo models.

Video makes it obvious it's a 997 but the driver actually says when asked "tell me about your car".... "Porsche nine ninety seven twin turbo"......
