Default My Xmas present to my shop...

got tired of dealing with woodstoves, dust and dirt...

Also got tired of sweating my behind off in the summer, so this new unit does both.. $1500 shipped for this 18K 13seer unit... Should be up and running in the next few days...

Between the motorcycle accident, my family situation (mother broke her back and was diagnoses with dementia following Thanksgiving day accident and father inlaw has terminal cancer) I've been to busy to pick up my car from a friend's shop.

Before the motorcycle accident I was planning to do a track weekend and didn't have the time to do eht alignment. After the accident I told him to set it up for street use as I tend to drive it more on the street between December and May... Just haven't gotten back to pick it up yet... Been spending way to much time with very sick family members lately, which may explain some of my "lack of patience" here and elsewhere...

Nice Mike! I'm mid project on the same thing. Went with a 2 zone system and have one unit up in the theater room that is above the garage and the second unit will go in the garage once I get it insulated so I can retain some of the air.

Could really use the heat right now in the garage as these past couple weeks with temps down in the teens and 20's. I should have it up and running before the early summer hear comes and rears it's head.

Hmmm, a home theatre room directly above a garage ... A garage that stores a stock, non mod, 996 Turbo....

I am picturing Dell sitting inside the aforementioned stock Turbo, helmet on, pressing a button and having the floor of the home theatre room slide back, the stock Turbo is then lifted up into the home theater room directly in front of the massive screen, thus becoming a stock, non modified Porsche driving simulator seat.

Now it all makes sense

Pretty close

Except it's a F1 sim.......

Yes, I'm wearing a helmet and gloves. Creates a more realistic experience, no?

For a more realistic experience you need to have a 'brolly dolly' to hold an umbrella over you while you're waiting on the grid during the open ceremonies.

Sincerely,

Macster.

I regretted that one. Next time I'll have my driving boots on.

That's an idea I can get behind... But having met Missus Dell, There might be an *** kicking in his future that we'd all enjoy!

I want a garage like yours but don't have the space. Afraid I'm going to have to annex the neighbor's house
