Default Rear Brake Duct Options?

Been searching the archives and I'm coming up empty with a thread that compiles a list of the rear brake duct options for our cars. I was at the track this past weekend and realized very quickly that I need rear cooling in a bad way. I installed the CUP ducts on the front and they were fantastic but after one of the really hard sessions, I came in and my rears were smoking!!! And that was after a cool down lap.

Thanks for the input in advance

If you have stock rear control arms, the GT2 hard plastic ducts should fit. They wouldn't fit my upgraded GT3 control arms so I am still looking for some myself. I also have the Cup ducts on the front and have had very good results from them.

Stock control arms here. I"ll see if I can't find a thread with the GT2 ducts. Thanks!

Perhaps you could modify these to fit ?

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product//997GT3DUCTS.html

(sorry, I used the word "modify" when discussing a vehicle that has "no modificaitons" )

Lewis....those look like the "GT2 rear ducts" that Larry had. They look like they might do the trick.

There is also the 997 Turbo stock rear ducts.

Just not sure what everybody has done around here and what their thoughts are.

Wait wait wait a minute... Thought there were going to be no further modifications... Or was it no modifications at all, or was it any future modifications... DELL? It's your lie, but could you tell it again so we're all straight on how to properly manipulate it?

Thanks in advance!

That is all.

Mike... Who drives... flat out... that is how he drives... flat out.

Did I say that? Oops.

What I meant was no more mods that cost more than a tank of gas.

The gt3rs ducts should work, just make sure you get both pieces.

Do you have a picture of what they look like?

So far we have only 2 contenders....the 997 Turbo ducts which are about $40 for a pair. The 997 GT3 ducts which are about $200 a pair.

They are the 997gt3 ducts listed above. The 2nd piece wraps over the control arm and holds the duct to the control arm. I have a couple in my garage right now, just waiting for the 2nd piece to show up. Should be here friday.

They're four unique part numbers, I think... Might have been on backorder...
