Default Help for Midnight Blue cars with rock chips !

I found a great paint pen at Michaels craft store. I actually bought 6 different pens trying to test match the paint first. I found that the Micron 05 Dark blue pen with .45mm point matches the best.
Its not professional repair, but it doesn't leave spots on the car you can see at different angles like acne you might get from touch up paint.
Its just enough to color the chip from the silver under color and hides the chip alot better.

SAKURA MICRON 05 (ARCHIVAL INK) DARK BLUE $1.99

Dr Color Chip. Exact paint match and it really works.

I've got to add my 2 cents on that "Dr Color Chip". While it seems to be a valid concept, for the vast majority the paint will not "stay" in the chip while buffing off the excess. The proof is in their own advertisments where they HIDE the repaired "after" area from view! (check the ad yourself!)
And I bet he's making a fortune too!

Careful touchup with a fine pen or brush really does work best!

You can also get a touch up kit at the dealer matching your exact paint code, ~20$.

Dr Color Chip is really good stuff and works well.

Porsche touch up - not so much. It's too thick, needs to be thinned down, and you have to use syringes if you want to do it right. Dr. Color Chip makes it much easier, and it's mixed to factory formula standards.

I've used it on two vehicles and it has worked very well.
