2001 "Cobalt Blue" - What do you think?

Hey, if you're gonna pull the trigger on this Turbo, then let me know, I work nearby that place (never been, though).
Heck, RAC Performance (formerly RUF Autocentre) is right around the corner from them so you may want to get RAC to do the PPI for you.

Looking at the hood sticker, it has the paint code of L3C8, which is listed as Cobalt Blue Met here: http://www.automotivetouchup.com/cho...&model=Boxster

It was my B-day present to myself...
Just picked it up this Friday. And yes, I think the black wheels, blue seat belts, stitching, console and seat backs are a little too flashy. But after driving it for a few days it's growing on me. Heck, it is a 911 turbo. Flashy is ok in my book!

Thanks! I'll post something as soon as it gets out of the shop at RUF. (Has a few bugs with the locks/alarm). Plus adding Gt3 delete kit & B&M short shifter.
See you're a 944 guy. I've also got an '86 951 set up for club racing (working on my license at the moment).

Yes, the dash is blue leather with blue stitching. Remainder of dash area is black. Black wheel and blue airbag. Kind of odd. But it's very hard to tell in person. The light has to really be on it. There were some option codes that weren't listed either. It was obviously very specially ordered and some of it conflicts in style for my taste (blue painted console with walnut trim?). The wood trim is on the way out. Overall, I'm very happy with it and can't wait for it to get out of the shop. There's a lot of details that make it a pretty unique car. And the cobalt blue looks amazing in the sun, which we get a lot of here in TX.
