I'd recommend you drive one before you're tempted to bid. A 993 has plenty in common with a 964 - and while the turbo has lots of good points, compared to my 964 it completely lacks any soul. And the 964 is 100 times more fun down a twisty road - the turbo has hugely more power, but is way behind on grin factor.
I'm happy I've got both but I think if I'd sold the 964 to buy the turbo I might have been quite disappointed.
I'm not convinced by the turbo you linked to. I know it's a minor point, but the spoiler does not rise at 50mph on 996 turbos (unless they've changed something in that car). It's 50mph on a 964, but it's 75mph on a 996.
I have driven the turbos before but not for a couple of years. I just get bored of cars and like to switch frequently. I have now had my daily driver 993 for 15 months and have been toying with the idea of a switch for a few months but just cant pull the trigger. The red one above caught my attention, but I still can't decide. However, it has been sold.

I pretty much agree with Dave but I got to say the TT is much more comfortable on long trips and does better on gas than the 964 if you dont get crazy with the go pedal..
