Hi guys I know this is a few months old but just had the exact same problem. Car starts fine jumps to just under 14v then falls down to less than 12v. Just wanted to ask if everything worked out ok and how hard was it to do the job?
thanks for any info
mike
ps I just replaced the battery last week

This is a great saturday morning project. about 2 hours and only a couple of tricks. Plug on air box has special clip and be careful not to break any vacuum lines further back behind the alternater when rolling it out.

You can get a Bosch at autozone if pushed or maybe there is an upgraded version at the dealer $$$ if time permits.

Good luck.
