Found a craigslist hard top for my new cab.. My questions are; Is it worth 500 bucks? , and is it worth 500 bucks??. thanks. It's already in my color so no paint needed. Oh my car is an 05, does this matter?? I see a lot of ads saying "fits 99-04" TIA

It's worth it if you will actually drive your car all winter. It will keep the salt off the fabric top , and will be quieter and warmer. If you store your car for the really bad stuff then don't waste your $$.

Check the two mounting connectors at the back - they were changed in 05 and it may not fit in the 05 model correctly. Perhaps the local dealer can add to this answer. If it fits it is definitely worth the $500.

If you don't have to change hardware, go for it. If he is asking $500 maybe he will sell for for $400. If you don't have to paint it that is a super deal. I am having mine painted as we speak. I had it on for a few days and I like how it looks. I did not liked the two tone paint (car in black and top in green). I paid $375 for the top and stand.

The H tops are amazing. Well worth the money. I suggest you wait for the right colour. Repainting is a pain in the butt and expensive.
