Default My new (used) Ruf RTurbo

Folks-

Received it yesterday via Gran Turismo Motorsports - a great trucking company.

Since I have already talked about it on 6speedonline, I will post other pictures. Upgrades include Brembo GTR 8 piston brakes fore and aft, as well as the Nardo engine.

Love the car - it is rock-solid. But you can still get into trouble - does not have the traction control of my 997 Turbos - which actually makes for a better driving experience. Again, drives like my GT3RS, very fast response and nimble with something like 150 more bhp.

I love it!

Thanks - Gerry

very very nice ride...and i usually hate yellow cars so that is a big compliment

how about getting rid of the orange signal bulbs, only costs 12 bucks but its a nice little mod and really cleans up the look of the lights

Lovely indeed... I love yellow.

-stupid question maybe, but, will that tow-hook/ring not flap around and scratch the paint? Does it lock down or is it just there because they just delivered it?

Thanks everyone for the feedback and good suggestions. I have always disliked yellow cars, but this is the "Ruf" yellowbird color.

The previous owner was the head of a well-known Porsche LeMans team, and had added upgrades to the car like a fully adjustable Moton Clubsport suspension, and Akkurat cermaic coated headers, lightweight titanium exhaust, GT3 sway bars, etc. But, to be sold as a Ruf, they apparently had to restore it to its original condition - too bad for me.

It's not a gray market car. It's a used Ruf, with orginal VIN and matching numbers. The only downside I have found so far is that the shifter/gearing is not quite right. I am going to check this out, perform a leakdown test on the engine, etc (or rather, I should say the good folks at Auto SportSystems here in Fairfax, VA are going to do the work).
