I do... and love all aspects of it except I wish I had more comfortable seats. The recent inflatable bag behind the seat cushion has helped but still not perfect.

Just curious what percentage of members drive their TT everyday.
TIA,
Sam

I DD except in winter (may get snow tires this year) and track the car a few times a year. I find the seats very comfortable actually - I have the lumbar option (purchased the car used and would not have looked for this option). My only concern is if I continue to do more and more track events, I'll want a seat that can support a hans device.

What other car can you drive 140mph on the straights, corner well through the esses, and then drive home in 20mph traffic over the Tappan Zee Bridge and still have a big smile on your face?

Here is a video of a recent day at the track -

RL member 'T2' I believe is the record holder for New England daily driver use...200K miles.

On the other side of the coin, I am representing the garage queen owners....5556 miles and spent the winter at the detailers.

I'm on my second 996TT as a daily driver. Bought the first one used with 35K and put 25K on it in two years. Sold that and just got an '02 with nice upgrades which is my new (to me) DD.

How many cars in this category can you do that with, while paying no more in maintenance than you would for a Lexus or a Volvo?

74K miles and counting... daily driver... even drive it from Orlando to Miami for the meetings there... just for the fun of it.

Needed to add that it is, for us at least, a good family car. I take the children to school (11 and 6), and pretty much anywhere I need to go with them.... which reminds me, I am late to pick them up!! See ya!

This is a true & repeating story: anytime we want to go anywhere, my kids 3 & 7, only ask for the "small" car. I agree it can be fully used with the entire family (up to 4).

I don't drive daily, so I don't have a daily driver.

When I need to drive somewhere, I do not always chose my Turbo.

DD for just about everything except going to the dump. Like Sam....I too wish that the seats were a little more comfortable on longer trips.

I go days at a time without driving a car. Sometimes it's because I'm at home and just don't need to go anywhere. Many times while at work I go days at a time without the need for a car. When I do need to drive somewhere I decide what my needs are, and what I feel like driving, and pick a car based on that. Sometimes it's the Turbo.

I do almost DD, unless its a long distance thing and the mini gets to go. I drive through the canyons, and more than once, when there was no traffic and I pushed the car somewhat, I get home, get out of the car and almost wanna thank it, cuz it just puts the biggest smile on my face. Yes, I do talk to my car, no it does not answer and no, therapy has not worked. :^)
