Not sure about the latch for the rear seat - my kids ride back there and have since they were in infant seats - they are beginning to out grow the rear seats though - almost in time for them to start asking hey dad can I have the keys..........

To Alex's comment about winter driving - if you have not tried it you are grossly missing out on what this cars capabilities are - there is a whole other world of experience out there waiting for you. As well as the car does in twisties and track days it does equally as well as a snow vehicle - I've amazed more people with agility in 10+ inches of snow.

On reliability - best I've owned yet. 223,000+ miles on the ticker, original turbo's, original clutch, original engine, original tranny. It's the best all around daily driver I've ever owned.

My dreams of owning a Turbo as a young child when all I saw were doctors and lawyers driving them up the street while I waiting for the school bus have come true - buy it, drive it, enjoy it....in that order. T2....continues to knock on wood!!
Dude; You're killing me.
My wife needs a "new" car and I want to get her (us ) a TT as a DD. There just is no room for a "get both" deal. MY DD is a Chevy half ton work van
We've got an Armada to carry the occasional Soccer team. 12 mpg. More
Ferrari and NSX in the garage queen/weekend mode. Well, OK,

She wont tolerate a Porsche. If she only knew.

Every day. Summer, Winter, Dry, Rain, Snow.

Snow tires make all the difference.

Only days I don't drive it are the days my wife wants it Maybe once every couple weeks.

Then I'm forced to settle for the E55.

Absolutely, DD. With 500# front/700# rear springs. It's my ONLY car. I change the wheels in the winter and it's great for snow, short of being 'high middled'. I do miss the rear seat storage space, now that I have a DAS Sport Bar.

As of December, the TT will be my only car...Volvo is going back, the POS has been nothing but trouble
My better half will get the Cayenne and I will have a big daily smile driving the TT %100 of time. Right now preparing the car for the roof/bike rack for some great summer fun.
