Can anyone tell me what this loose cable is? the 2 working switches on my 2001 996 TT center console are the R & L window switches. Is there any lights in the center storage area?
Pardon the dust/sand...not a garage queen.

Yep looks to me like the ashtray light too.

 

Right. just found the old ash tray console and has the connector on it.
