Opinion on these OZ wheels
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand
Has anyone run with these wheels or seen them? I know the quality must be good because OZ is top notch, and the price is attractive compared to other high quality rims, but I can't decide if they will look good on my 996 TT. They're pretty "busy". They also look tough to clean. Has anyone seen them on a TT? Thanks.

Thanks Wachuko.
Actually I'm looking for a (relatively inexpensive) second set to use a a couple of months a year for a little variety; I plan to keep the Champions because I like them too!

Thanks for the input Chris and Dr. D. The rear lips on my Champions-- while they look great-- are chrome and so are difficult (and expensive) to repair if/when they get any curb rash. I'm dealing with it right now and apparently most wheel guys do not want to deal with chrome. So, good looking wheels without a lip are probably easier to maintain...

I haven't seen those wheels but I think they look pretty good. But I share your concern about being "busy" and would want to see them on the car. All I can share with you is a photo of OZ Superleggeras (19") on my Ruf R turbo. Cheers.

I much prefer the Superleggra's to your other Oz wheels....these seem much more classic and show more of the brake disc in the background which seems to enhance the overall look of the car....also the Oz are just too busy (for my particular taste) and a bitch to keep clean with all those spiderweb nooks and crannies.

Chuck, I think you're right on all counts, thanks
BTW, I love the look of my Champions with the classic spokes and showing a lot of break disc (unlike the OZs in my firstr postm as you point out). And love the fat rear wheels (315s!), but... I just bought new rear tires for these rims from TireRack-- DAMN they are expensive!!!

I just bought a set of the 315 Michelin PS for my car too...because they usually wear out at a rate of two sets of rears to one set of the fronts....but next time when the fronts and rears wear out together, I'm going to something a little less expensive. I like the Michelins for their performance....but I'm not sure that they're really worth it for a guy who doesn't track and only runs a periodic DE day and loves the mountain twisties.....there has to be something more reasonable for guys who have my driving habits. I predominantly want a good street tire with reasonably good twistie performance....mostly fair weather...no snow and maybe a little rain here and there.
