45k?
Hey guys,
I know this is a stupid question to ask on the Turbo board, but if you had 45k to jump back into a Porsche, what would it be?
1. 996TT - looking at around 40k miles, 2002-2003.
2. 997S - 30-40k miles
3. 996C4S Cab - 15k-20k miles
I'm dying on this one, any thoughts would be appreciated.

The 997 guys all say the handling of the C4S, the lighter weight and revised interior make it a no-brainer.
My last ride was a C4S, and I actually think that the 996 styling (wide body) is better than the 997 - has anyone driven the 997 and chosen the 996TT?

Once you've driven the boost, you can't go back. I love the way my car jumps and runs when the boost hits. Yee-Haa. Besides with the turbo you get the AWD. It's like a C4S on rocket fuel.

Alright, I'm with ya - I'm looking at a couple of coupes right now and a cab. We'll see what happens.
I like the resale issue as well - the 996TT's have fallen like rocks, but depreciation from here on out should be pretty gentle, so if I want to roll it in a couple of years, it would likely take a smaller hit than a 997.
