Reading your posts adam_, I'm very, very cuorious to know what do you have on your enigne and what are your goals for it in the short and lorg terms? For how long you have the car? Do you want to trade it for the new 997tt?

I don't think i could beat a Z06 though unless I souped my car up. My porshe mechanic told me I could get 650 hp out of mine for about $10k (bigger turbos, beafier clutch, bigger intercoolers, chip, and exhaust work) .

Does that sound right? Also would it hurt the resale of my car if I souped er up?

Which was it an 08 or a c5, which is last generation vette and the 436 hp is the c6.

08 is a C6 and could be 430hp or 436hp depending on whether it had the optional NPP exhaust. I just sold my 08 C6 convertible and bought an 04 TT cab to replace it as the C6 was useless in the winter.

The TT is great with snow tires !
