Dock, It looks perfect!! Great pictures, the stiching really turned out nicely. I am so glad your happy with it. In my opinion silver guage faces or aluminum bezzels and aluminum pedals would finish off the look nicely. Forget what I just said it never ends....enjoy the wheel

Rhonda

Thanks for all the help with the order!

Concerning the interior of my Turbo....the understated, but high quality look is exactly my target. It's what I personally like (most important), and in the end it's very different (and different can be good IMO) than many other Turbos. Polar Silver and Metropol Blue speak for themselves....

I just installed by FVD Daytona 340mm steering wheel also. I love it. I think its a little empty with no logo. I am going to try some 3d decals from Europe.

I just love how the steering wheel feels in my hands. The stock ones was way too thin.

How much was it cost for those carbon replacement?

I am eyeing on a turbo that has interior wood package modded, which I don't like. Is it easy for do it your self?

Thank you

real carbon parts are expensive. you can easily spend a couple of thousand in just a few parts. if you go the oem route expect to pay premium for these. check out www.macarbon.com. they make excellent parts for much less and the quality is outstanding.

If they have the carbon wheel with that flat shape on the bottom of the steering wheel I would have been all over it.

Dock,

Your most welcome.

Your absolutely right if you personally like your current look, that's whats most important.

Thanks Again!

Rhonda@FVD,
Can the Daytona GT be ordered in Metropol Blue with deviated color stitching?

Thanks Doc. Hey I was looking over the site and am I correct assuming the wheel comes with an airbag, and the only thing else needed is the hub like you got?

How are the instructions? I know how to work on cars, just never removed a wheel with an airbag ready to explode in my face.

Thx.

It is an easy install, just make sure you disconnect the battery first and your wheels are straight. I have the DIY if you want...
