Default Techart body kit now on... awaiting PE700 heart transplant

After a bit of delays, the Techart GTS kit that I had ordered has finally arrived. Kit was installed today and I am totally in love with it. Kit incorporates the front and rear bumper (made of carbon fibre), spliters etc also made of carbon fibre and the side skirts.

I am really pleased with the results and just cant stop looking at the car now!!! Only thing is the beautiful carbon fibre front splitter clears nothing more than a pebble on the road. It seriously hits everything.

Hope you all enjoy.

Next on the aesthetics front will be HRE 19 inch monoblocks then looks wise I will be totally happy... except for maybe a matt black change in colour. Will use the 545 18 inch HREs for the track.

Hope you all enjoy....

Now I just cant wait for Todd to ship me the PE700...

It looks fantastic, but unfortunately the CF lip will not last...be prepared to replace it with a smaller version. To clarify, the front and rear bumper are not cf...they are fiberglass.

Thanks bud.

Yes, I am expecting that mate.

Weird, when I looked at the underside of the bumper it was black fibre, and the painter told me it was carbon fibre. Darn, and I thought it was well priced for carbon

Wonder why they didnt then just make the parts out of a flexible material if they were not going to use carbon fibre to save weight.

The OEM bumper is polyurethane...a more flexible material. You do realize the difference between fiberglass and CF is that the fibers are burned and then weaved (hence carbon). I have read on some sites that the TA material is PU RIM, but not sure. Mine sure looked like a fiberglass composite.

Doesn't mater still the best kit for our cars!

That's SICK, mate! (In a good way).
Might I suggest some wire mesh behind the radiator openings?
It will save your radiators from a lot of damage from road debris
(a big problem here in Texas!).

That car is going to be quick. Especially if you convert to 2wd.
