Default FS: EVO / IA Stage IV K-24 Turbos for 996TT

4,000 miles on these turbos; New Price: $4,390; I need to sacrifice and move on so I am selling them for the first $2,200;

I'll even throw in a free pair of “bolt-on” 1.0 bar wastegate actuators for better boost response and increased power. The higher pressure actuator is designed for cars that are generating higher than stock boost levels. New Price: $389; yours free with turbos.

Paypal Only - Buyer pays shipping from Orlando, FL; my pmt address is: todd.hricko@wyndhamvo.com

IA modified K-24 GT-2 MotorSport turbochargers have larger turbine impellers to generate up to 630+HP without increased turbo lag. Hand polished compressor housing inducer for optimal airflow and efficiency. Dyno tests have shown that the lower RPM power is not sacrificed however top end power gains are significant. These turbochargers are the "real deal" and ARE NOT remanufactured K-16 turbochargers. K24 GT2 turbos are 100% bolt on direct replacement installation.

What other changes need to be made to run these turbos in a normal 996TT? I have Fabspeed exhaust but that's it so far.

Nice car, it looks exactly like mine.

With the turbos and the exhaust you have (assuming you have headers with your exhaust) you'd need to get the billet blow off valves and send your ECU to Imagine Auto for a day. They fedex it right back to you on the same day.

I bought the Stage IV kit from IA (Stephen Kaspar, PCA National Turbo Advisor). He gets the majority of his parts from Evolution Motorsports. They advertise the kit like this:

The 996TT Stage IV for 996 is our most popular upgrade package. Say goodbye to reason, this kit is all about brutal power. Stage IV is based on Stages I-III, and includes a turbo upgrade, stainless steel headers, free flow exhaust, K&N air filter, custom billet blow off valves and a custom re-mapped ECU, this set-up will increase the output by an additional 177hp, and 198ft/lbs of torque. With over 600hp on tap, your 996 can run with most motorcycles, or be as refined as the day you bought it.

thricko, with all fairness to fellow Rennlisters the pictures that you have provided do not show the polished or hand polishing. Basically you have a stock set of K24's with a wastegate kit.

Sorry to to say it but don't think the seller knows what he has. He may know what he had paid for but what he got appears to be stock K24s.

I forgot to add, if the turbochargers are in good health the price is fair.

Kevin, thanks for acknowledging that my price is fair! To answer your question about their health - I personally never had any issues with these turbos and they ran very, very strong, so my mechanic and I feel that they are in very good condition.

How can you tell that the compressor housing inducer is not polished?

When I look on the EVOMS.com website there is a picture of a virtually identical K24 turbo (see web address below) with the same wording I used in my original post. Thanks for your help.

Because it isn't.. I can see the rough factory casting on the inlet to the inducer. You can also see the factory CNC inducer bore cut. If you look close you can see the change in the texture from the casting to the machined bore..

You can look where I posted my new turbochargers vs the stock K16/K24. Your compressor housing is similar to the stock turbocharger that I pictured.

The K24s we use are not from EVO on our stage 4 kits.
