Just got my first one in the TT. Everything seems normal, battery, temp., oil. Runs fine. It came on after letting off from about 150 or so. I feel like it's probably nothing but...any guesses on how far it would be safe to drive it? I had hoped to get it checked today but my guy was closed. It's not in the "limp" mode, just cel.

Typically, that sort of CEL is related to a MAF issue. Turn the ignition on and then off ant it should clear. That happened to me and cleared a number of times till it finally stayed on and it turned out to be a sensor which I replaced and have had no further problems. As long as the CEL doesn't flash at you, you should be able to drive it unless it keeps recurring.

CEL problems can divided into two types.
Type #1 the CEL is on.
This is to tell you that you have an emissions related problem and you should get it inspected soon but you do not need to stop driving the car.
Type #2 the CEL is blinking and the engine may be "off song"
This is to tell you that you have a problem and that further driving may damage the engine.
Sounds like you have a type #1 problem. Slant is right, get the code read and then you can make an informed decision about what steps you need to take next.
