Default Best Suspension Springs ? Ruf ?

I was leaning towards getting some motons as Mooty suggested a few months ago to me when we were at Laguna Seca. But, I will be moving out of the States and to Spain for work next year, so really theirs no point in spending all that money now and just enjoying it for a bit.

I have been looking at the RUF Sport Springs, are they any good ?
I have heard horrible things regarding H&R.

I want to pretty much lower the car say 1 inch or 1.5. Improve handling. I do not mind stiffer that will break my back as longest it gets the job done. Are Eibach good as well ?

Thanks guys,

Enrique

I think most springs will have a similar effect to lower your car. without the strut you can make the car stiffer and lower but will not necessarily handle better. But you will basically get what you are trying to achieve.

next step could just be something more affordable like PSS9's or JIC's

Good luck overseas!

+1. Dont bother with a set of springs, for $1800 you can get a brand new set of 9's off ebay. Or find them used for $1500 np. Good luck.

While you are in Spain you might be able to pick up X73 suspension for a reasonable price. The low dollar killed this kit as a good deal here but maybe you can find something when you get there.

I have the Ruf coilovers on my tt. Very pricey at 4k but a nice package that comes with a rear sway bar. These are rebranded pss9's to Ruf's specifications which are very comfortable on the street.
