I have a 01 996 that I'm either going to upgrade with a SC from EVOMS, or buy a new turbo. 10-12K including installation for a SC on a 35K car seems rediculous. EVOMS 996 SC has got to be the only tuning kit in the world that hasn't come down in price as the price of the cars has dropped 50%. I guess they've got to pay for the EVOMS girls.
I can easily find pricing on EPL's K16/16G 600 HP kit (3,500) great deal. Vivid I'm sure, has really eaten into Evoms with their 650 kit (10,800) and 700 kit (14,000). Evoms isn't even in the ballpark. I can't find any pricing on UMW kits. I've looked on their website and for some reason there is no pricing or performance info there. I want to be able to compare and contrast everyones kits before I make my decision. I don't want anyone saying "what are your goals, wants desires and needs", this usually just means big $$$. Does anyone know what's in a 500, 600, 650 HP kit from UMW and what they cost. I think it's as hard to find pricing for Proto's kits, but I don't think their interested in the lower end, more the one off high HP builds.
My TT will be my DD unless it snows in CO. I will track this car quite a bit, a few 1/4 miles and a very few spirited 60-130 bursts. Thanks a lot.

Ken,
Don't confuse lack of webmaster skills for lack of a decent product, as their expertise is building great turbo tunes not setting up a web shop. Guys like Kevin at UMW and Tony at EPL and Dan at Vivid are very responsive if you email them or phone them.
