I'd be careful buying from this place. They have always struck me as being another Luxury Motors. You're dealing with a bunch a foreigners and they have an "unsatisfactory" record with the local better business bureau. I bought a car a few years ago from luxury motors and would never buy a car from a dealer like that again.

I have bought several cars from Chicago Motorcars......on numerous occasions I flew down to Chicago and had my PPI's done at Napleton Porsche.
The cars were properly represented over the phone and checked out OK. As I am a dealer my due diligence on the car "and" the vendor is second to none.
I will buy from them again. Parin is a first class act.
Gobble is quite correct about Luxury Motors.....that place is a joke.

It looks like they are talking about the same car on the 6 speed forums. Different wheels though. And some bad things to say about the dealer.

Not the same car.
But thanks for the link.
I would have to say SO FAR they have done nothing odd. The part to finish the repairs SHOULD be in today.
Keeping my fingers crossed

I would be careful. I looked at a vehicle there last summer. In Illinois you are only allowed by law to charge a max amount for doc fee ($50 or $60 dollars), they were trying to charge something like $200. When i questioned them on the legality of the fee, they got flustered and started to scratch things out on the paperwork and change the description of the fee. In my opinion, something seemed a little fishy and I walked. They claim to have no connection to Luxury Motors, but also stated they swap cars from time to time. I would take them with a grain of salt.

Ok gang.
I am going to make a few comments now that I have met these guys.
My car is a 2003 TT X50 car. They replaced the clutch and accumulator. There was an issue with a hose that kept me from getting there last week. SO I flew out today and was promptly picked up at the airport by Steven. He was very professional and friendly. When we got to the shop the car was ready to go. I met Parin for the first time in person. I have to say, he is a genuinely good guy. Those of you that know me know I have had a zillion cars and do NOT like dealers. So for me to say that about Parin actually means something.
I went to take the car out for a drive and something was wrong with the clutch. They immediately pulled it in and checked it over. Whether just bad luck or faulty repair work the slave cylinder had failed. So, with a few calls they could not find one. Monday at the earliest.
Parin was OBVIOUSLY embarrassed. They had been testing this car for two days to make 100% sure it was ok. He even put on new tires to make up for the hassle. But now we were there, with one way tickets and plans to meet family in Springfield IL.
He immediately formulated a plan with our needs in mind. He bought us return tickets and is shipping the car to me, at his cost. He also lent us a very nice BMW 6 series to go to Springfield on Saturday as planed.
I can tell bull **** when I see it. These guys took this very seriously and took the inconvenience to us very seriously.
We all know poop happens. And SO FAR these guys have treated me better than any other dealer I have ever used (except one, Paul Herman Motorcars).
Parin had the integrity to deal with us in a professional manner and forth write way. Even though he is a young guy he DOES understand customer service.
So, once the clutch is all fixed he will drive it for a day or two to x2 check the car and then ship it to me.
I also have a good feeling that if there is anything wrong he will stand behind his product.
Well, this was my experience today.
