Tim,

I understand the agony of waiting- in 2001 I traded in all 3 of my Porsches for a new spec'd out 2002 996TT. The dealer gave me a brown Ford Taurus to drive while I waited for the new car to be built, which turned into an 8 month wait!! Oh, the pain!!!!

That sounds about right. I tried dealing with Parin on two occasions regarding two different cars. The guy is allergic to the truth. As long as you go into a transaction with him knowing this and you protect yourself you may be ok.
