301 is the best number I have recorded as well. Car was a 996 turbo.

A few seconds later I was was doing an indicated 310 or so, but was on a bumpy curve and only managed a photograph of my leg!

I don't think the Polizei would have been too pleased if they saw me taking pictures...the speed wouldn't have bothered them though.

Mine is stock and I see .8 bar as well, unless I was reflashed by a previous owner. I am pretty sure it is stock because the Porsche dealer said nothing about the computer not being stock when they checked it out. You are almost at red line. I thought the top speed was rated at around 346 Km per hour or 187 MPH?

If the car is stock, then the maximum boost should be 0.8 bar but sometimes there are variations in the display.

The speedo error is 10% up to 100 km/h and then 10 km/h up to redline. This error is always exact. PAG has taken advantage of an SAE guideline to make the car appear faster which, I presume, helps them sell cars. The car will hit the rev limiter at an indicated 316 km/h which is an actual 306 km/h.

Oh, and the photo was taken by a friend who was kind enough to send it to me to show what good care he was taking of my car as he moved it for me. And before anyone complains, the photo was taken in Germany (hence the lack of camera shake).

Harris,
Are you in Athens? I plan to visit my family this July and plan to bring my car with me but i am still worried about the Greek roads and the dogs on the freeway.
