A very good friend of mine is interested in a 996 TT at:
www.ortonperformance.com
in Atlanta.
Does anyone have a reference on them? Anyone care to take a look at this car by next Thursday or Friday (12/27-28)?
Thanks, Ron

Neil is a good guy that did the ECU flash on my car a few years ago. I have been happy with it and feel he is very knowledgeable about our cars and what works and what does not. Good luck with your purchase.

I have met Neal Orton at Road Atlanta a couple of times. He seems like a knowledgable guy and he has some loyal/happy customers. I haven't used him for any services.

Yea, I wouldn't slander Neil Orton, because I don't know him personally and have never done business with him, but do your research and buyer beware. There are several on 6speeds who are trying to get refunds of thousands of dollars who haven't had any luck yet... As I said above though, I'd use caution... There are three sides to a story, and we haven't heard Neils, and so we can't get to the "truth".

The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle, but after following the thread about the heartburn being felt about Neil, he really does need to come forward and tell his side of the story, or do the right thing as a business man and make his disgruntled customer happy. I would be leary of calling on Orton Performance for anything until hearing both sides of this story.
