Default manuals?

I finally purchased my first porsche. It is a 2001 996 turbo with 29k miles. It appears to be in excellent condition but unfortunately came with no manuals? I suppose I need to learn how to operate this properly. Any ideas on where to find manuals?

Congrats on your Turbo.

As for the owner's manual, I'd try poking around eBay...or order one from the dealer.

You can download a PDF at renntech.org.

Congrats on your new ride. The fun is just beginning.
Had the same situation with my purchased 04tt this past August easy to solve. For about $100 a dealer can supply manuals for radio, owners and leather storage pouch.
How bout some pixs?
Enjoy

Did you get the radio codes with the car?

May want to ask your Porsche dealer to request them from Germany, just in case.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like the local dealer can help me. And I'll remember to ask for radio codes as well. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow. Having fun!

I did find the manuals on renntech.org but only for a 02tt. What is the difference between an 01tt and 02tt?

email me your home address and I'll burn you a disc and mail it to you. Gratis.

leave out the nospam part!

The disc will be the 2000 page set of full shop manuals

Not much: Glove box, Bose

Have you tried contacting Jeff at Sunset Imports? He should be able to get you manuals for a good price.
