Got around to taking some pics after a wash/wax. Someone also had asked about painted black wheels, so hope this helps. Only 2-3 weeks left up here before i'll have to put away my toy

Thanks...I am toying with the idea, but the though of all the salt getting in makes me cringe!

I am trying to get my wife to get a C4S as a daily driver, so I may have some fun after all, we'll see how it goes....

Where in Ontario are you? How has the Fall been so far, looks great in your pic.

I am former (10+ years) Toronto resident. Miss Ontario not the winters...the salt and Calcium Chloride devoured my cars...sadly...!

I'm in London, Ontario. The fall has been unusually warm, its jus starting to cool down.

The first pic is excellent--probably one of the prettiest 996tt pics I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). As painful as it may be to bag that thing for the winter, getting salt on it should carry criminal penalties. Ahhh the beauty of living in Southern California--the only salt we see around here involves dining...

Thanks for the kind words....as for the winter, I may just have to settle for the fun of driving it in and out of the garage!

Did you paint the center caps black? I painted my turbo ones and am having a hard time deciding if I should do my set w/crest like yours or keeping the stock ones and painting the TURBO script red. Yours looks good with the crest. Dang I shouldnt have looked

No did not paint them. These are Champion wheels and came the way you see them. BTW, you cant see in these pics, but the valve caps have the Porsche crest on them as well, look really cool.......Jag.

I'm not a big fan of black cars in general, but dang!, your car looks fantastic!
The wheels look just perfect.

Sweet Ride. Are those Toyo Proxes T1R's? What size are they and what pressure do you run?

I just picked up an X50 that has a set of those tire on it (235/30/19 and 315/25/19). They feel like they may be overinflated. When I get a chance I'll go for a spirited drive and check the scrub marks, but for now any guidance would be appreciated.

BTW, I'm also a Canadian from Ottawa, now living in San Diego. I miss the fall, but not the salt and the short sports car season.
