I have not seen anyone post a TTS (X50) flash yet. I am still considering it....

Turning the key and depressing the accelerator,
I noticed that the exhaust note seemed more menacing.

Driving the car after the flash was insane.

I regularly saw .9 bar, when I could take my eyes off the road.

The torque hole down low and initial hesitation is gone.
The car just gets up and rushes to the red line.
It's like I'm driving the car for the first time.

It's alive and angry.
Unbelievable bang for the dollar.
Thanks to FVD for a great product.

I know others with UMW and GIAC...etc, programs describe a similar experience with flashing and I have to admit, that up to now, I was sceptical that a flash could make that much of a difference.

Had to tkae it out for another test drive this morning!
Now I'm trying to imagine some of the 700 + HP...beasts on here.

holy adrenaline rush batman...

I too am torn and deliberating on FVD vs. GIAC. I think both are good products so I am looking for indicators that would sway the decision. Thanks.

I am in Oz, so convenience(least amount of shipping..downloadable flash), performance and price swayed me towards FVD.If I was in the States, I would have considered UMW or FVD based on value and performance.

Best thing to do is search forum for feedback from customers of both.

Hey rafiki,

I noticed that you have an FVD flash. I'm in Sydney Australia and looking to get one too...are you happy with yours?

Where did you buy it from? USA?

Which exhaust do you have?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mick

Yes I'm very happy with mine, I highly recommend it.The bang for buck is incredible.I have an aftermarket exhaust, but not sure of the make..it's a two can design.

I bought it from FVD USA, along with BMC filter and DV valves.
Speak to Mark, he was very helpful.I was lucky the $A dollar was around .90c US.

If you want to go for a drive in mine just send me a PM.

PM doesn't seem to be working for me...

Do you mind sending me a text? My number is 0419 126 206. I'd love to have a chat and check out your car sometime.

Carmen: If you find any info about a flash for the X50...give me a PM will you? I don't plan to do anyting till the CPO runs out next September....but after that, I'll be on the hunt.

Although I have to admit....so far I've needed a strut (not covered by CPO)...blown radiator hose and lost the coolant (not covered), warped a rotor (not covered). At this rate, the CPO will be untouched by the time it runs out.
