Manny, the exhaust is not supported arount the mufflers they are secured from the back and mounted to the factory hanger. Anotherwords this system does not have a large band securing each bank.

Soound clips will come soon.. Right now the tip selection is limited to the 3" termination. I will be CNC some tips down the road..

Nice job Kevin, the fab work looks real good......much better than some other "one off"exhausts I've seen and looks Porsche quality.I like this if it doesn't lose too much power over a set of straight pipes......it would be really cool to run my car super quiet down to the local car meet and surprise a few unsuspecting victims.Kevin what do you think the horsepower loss would be over a set of 3" straight pipes on a 800 rwhp car.Joe

Joe, Thanks...

While we know that the stock exhaust has close to 5.50 PSI of backpressure, this system will fall right around 0.50 PSI. However, the real test will be measuring it at 8K...

It would be foolish for me to say that this exhaust will match the numbers of a straight thru/straight pipe.. However, like you mentioned, showing up at a event in a stealth mode does have some advantages. For myself in the Pacific Northwest, with all the boating, having someone tell me that my car sounds like a outboard motor kind of sucks, or when you are driving down your street and you see the young mother reach down and put her hads around her child ears kind of makes you think twice. These are just a couple reasons why I have went forward with this project.

Kevin,

I am a big fan of this project as I believe that the 996TT with
straight pipes sounds horsesh**! I am disappointed that Stef did
not build some more Bazookas as I certainly would have bought one.

Good luck with this one!

Me as well. It looks a lot like GMG's WC-GT system. If it sounds anything like that, and costs 4k (1k less than GMG's) i'm definitely game!!! Looking forward to the sound clips.

Kevin,

Your exhaust is very nice. I have actually been thinking of selling my quality exhaust for a europipe. Then you do this. I can't believe you did not use aluminum or titaniun piping No electric cutouts? So does this mean you could make me some Tubi cloned exhaust tips for it? Looking forward to your final product. BTW Come on why do you even say $3800? We both know it will be $4k I just think you know us cheap asses like the sound of $3k vs $4k Take care Ralph
