Who do you guys use for shipping your cars?

Any guess at what the charge would be from Memphis to Seattle, that's around 2500 miles one way?

Let me know

Christian

Horseless Carriage or Concours Transport...Fred Koller, very nice guy but extremely busy.

Last time I shipped a car from CA to MD was $1800, probably around $2000 now. Recently shipped a car from Texas to MD and that was $1650.

$1400 (enclosed, open is about 75% of closed rate) would be a good commercial price. You'll only get that if you find a trucker who makes that run or has other reason to go to the locations. So hunt for that trucker through dealers at either end. Brokers will kill u. Otherwise, you'll spend anything up to $3k if you are paying a guy to go out of his way. It's not your miles that count....it's the truckers miles you'll pay for.

This past July I paid $1575 to ship my car from Sacramento, CA to Maryland. I highly recommend DeMoise Trucking. Very professional driver worked very slowly around the cars using a thick towel to protect the doors when opening or when walking along side the car in the tight truck environment. Very nice people to deal with.
