this week my 03tt started surging on acceleration at 3k rpm and jumps to 5k in 1 secs and the turbos hit .7 on the gauge instanly... its pretty violent and psm has kicked on under real hard accell.... the *** end seems to swng out a little.

After 5k rpm it rounds out.. and feels like a power loss.

Wasnt doing this last week....

Ive searched and only thing i came up with was vario cam.. but i would have had this happen before i would think.. ive put 6000 miles on the car in 3 months...

Any other ideas before i call up the dealer?

 

With the higher summer temps timing can be pulled. How many miles since a plug change??

 

about 200 miles since new plugs and full service
