Got the Europipe today. Does anyone know what the small metal cylinder that came with the wrench set is used for? It's about the circumference of a pinky and 4 to 5 inches long. I'm having it installed at TPC tomorrow. Tom was nice enough to open the shop after hours and put it on the lift. He and I will be doing the installation. That should make things alot easier. I think that since it's on the lift that the bumper removal won't be necessary. I'm going to put her on the dyno again to see if there is any gain after the install. I have baseline, post ECU flash and now a post exhaust dyno run.

Why fight it.. Take your bumper off, you can also change your plugs and get your hands dirty..

The small round rod is to use as a breaker bar..

If you can, buy an EP. It is probably the best one of them all...after extensive research. If a tuner made one, say Kevin or Stephen, themselves....I would take a look. But save that....EP is probably the "Porsche" of the exhausts if you will.

If you cannot afford an exhaust...

I am the same name there....on my car it is quite nice. It makes stock louder by far, but no drone, at least to me, a Billy Boat system owner in a former 993.

In the slow saving-for-an-EP mode. :-)

^when you penetrated the metal how far did you enter the pipe and bore it, or did you break thru and be done with it

Thanks

ChristianR,

If you are asking me, it appears as though the passenger side plenum is about an inch deep until it hits the back side of the muffler casing, so be careful.

The drivers side appears to be an open plenum, so it does not matter how far you penetrate the pipe.

The short stubby UniBit makes drilling thru easy without over penetration.
