Congrats to Evolution Motorsports: First 9 Second 996TT!
My cell phone's been exploding with text messages tonight because Todd and his crew at EVOMS just broke into the 9s in the 1/4mile. The record was not only broken but it was pretty much shattered with a 9.67@149mph time. In fact it's time for a Parachute guys because 150mph was breached on a different run.

Quick question... looking at the video... I see the start was slower than the truck next to it... seems reaction time suffered. Am I looking at this wrong?? I guess what I am saying is that they could have gotten even better numbers with a faster reaction time .

Wachuko, actually whatever happens in the other lane doesn't affect the EVO car. The clock starts when you move regardless of your reaction time. I have always found myself letting the other car go when focusing on a quick time...
