Price thoughts........
Ok, I have found one a REALLY like but it is more than I want to spend.
It is a 01
23k miles
Nav
Heated seats
Park Sensors
Thats about it. Fairly low options car.
It is Green on Black. I LOVE green. Just my thing. But he wants 67k and it is not in perfect condition. The color is a detractor (for resale). And I am seeing 02's with only slightly more miles(32 to 35k) at 65k. My gut is saying it should be 60-61k give or take.
What do you guys think?

price is too high for that car. green will hurt resale, no question. how long has it been for sale? it will take a while to sell with that color, therefore you should be in the power position. never be in love with a car, too many out there. offer him what you think is fair and be prepared to walk.

I will hit him with a price and see.
The real thing I personally like is the color.
But Seal Gray is a very close favorite of mine and there are tons out there in that color.

I fell in love with my car and so paid a premium for it, but it was low miles, had reasonable options, and had been owned by a detailing fanatic, so at least I could rationalize the price to myself. 23k miles is pretty low for an '01, but I agree that the price should be no more than 60k.

You can't come out of it well if you don't buy it well. Make an offer that is reasonable to you, and wait. If you aren't prepared to walk away, you can never get the deal you want. If he waits much longer, the price will drop more.AS
