I have a gulf spec 996 TT, as most of the people on the road cannot drive over here they fit many cars with a continual audible alert which comes on as soon as you hit 120km/h and remains on until below 120. This is spoiling my everyday driving of the car - kind of like having a fly buzzing around inside the car while on a track day. I know you can set a separate alert on the computer for varoius speeds, this is not the problem as I switched it off, can anyone help me before this beeping turns me into the hulk.

if its aftermarket your going to have to find the contorl and unhook it

Did you check the OBC and the Nav unit? They each have separate alarms.

Yeh, I've checked the OBC - switched to disactivate, The sound is like when you turn off the engine, take out the keys and leave the headlights on (Porsche beeping sound not after market). I will try again with the SatNav setup - although I'm sure it's not that either - hope it's something simple to remedy. Thanks for the help guys.
