Does anybody know what size spacers are needed to run these wheels on the 996TT?

I doubt there is any difference in offset between the 996TT and 997TT.....

David @ WheelEnhancement gave me the whole run-down on spacers, etc for this application. Call them or email and they will provide all the information you need plus pricing on a set of "nearly new" rims.

Will the 997tt rear wheels with stock 997tt tires fit a 996tt?

With my lowerd 996 tt (x73), 5mm spacers do are needed (or at least recommended) for the stock 997 tt rims.

Wheels on the 997TT vs 996TT have different offsets. Recently viewed the black 996TT....4 sale in Sydney (see Condor Man's post). The wheels look good, however they sit inward by approx 20mm (spacers would correct the look).

Default Same car different wheels and plate

Quote Condorman: " Here are some 997 Rims on 996 Cars"

Not to try and hijack the thread, but I believe that the car that Condorman posted is the exact same car that I was going to buy from a Sydney Dealer
approx 18 months ago...I placed a deposit, then dealer refused to provide a test drive as per contract...

took 12 months and a hearing at Consumer Complaints Tribunal and an appeal hearing...I won both and got my money back.Learned a good lesson.

Back on to thread...it had stock wheels then and a different number plate!

Spoke with Wheel Enhancement. The 997tt wheels will fit a 996tt with spacers. However, the 2 rear tires from the 997tt will have to be changed to a different size to fit the 996tt.
