Default how high on Boost gauge

In my 03 I have not been able to get more than 0.7 bar on the boost gauge (the digital one in the cluster)

My old 951 would peg 1.0 every time.

What are your guys getting?

Granted, Ive not been over 100 in the car. But with the accel pegged to the floor it maxs at 0.7 no matter what gear or how you drive it.

Dave that is because you have a stock ECU..

If you want more boost you need to "Tune" your ECU for the increase..

Feel free to email me..

Yep sounds stock. Mine stayed at .7 in stock form until I got my man Kevin to "boost" it up to 1.0 to 1.1 bar with his ECU flash. You're in good hands if you are already talking with Kevin

Kevins code makes a lot, and I mean a LOT, of torque.

Best of luck to dave1200.

cohare:

It's best if you contact Kevin at UMW for all your questions, but in a nutshell his programmer IS the flash upgrade. He sends you the programmer with the files you need based on your setup. You plug the programmer in and it takes about 2 minutes to do the flash and you are done.

The programmer is an OBDII device. It can hold 8 codes. Kevin can supply and does a way to back up stock, valet, performance 1 - 6 codes. I suppose he can downgrade things too if he chose.

It is easy, fast, and a few days of fed-ex back and forth only.

Anyway, no CEL's here.....amazing grin producer to be honest. What this car can do....it is brutal...and that is with K16's. I am somewhat fearful about his bigger turbos.....it will happen one day.
