Default Film protectant for car

Does anyone know of a really good installer of the plastic film kits for the front of the cars that protect the paint from dings? I live in Fairfield County Ct and am already aware of the armor glove people in Greenwich. I have a black Turbo that I want to keep free of dings if I can. I also could go to Putnam or Westchester counties on the NY side if there is an experienced installer. Thanks very much. FOUND A SHOPE THROUGH THE HAIRY CAR GARAGE OFF EXIT 16 ON RTE 84 DAN JACOBS WAS REALLY HELPFUL THANKS

I bought mine precut and intend to install myself. It doesn't look too hard, based on the CD video that comes with the film. Waiting on some 70 degree weather to install it.

I watched the guy at the dealership install mine and it wasn't as easy as it might appear. Lots of compound curves for it to go around. I used the 3M stuff and the dealer had a guy come to the lot and put it on. I believe most window tiniting shops can do it too.

I wouhttp://www.invisiblepatterns.com/dealers.asp#Resultsld stay away from the 3M film, and use Venture Shield. Check out this link, give them a call.

My 3M's been on the car over a year now, and still looks like the day it rolled off the dealer's lot. I think all of this film is essentially identical. Its just price and marketing from that point on. The real proof to me is what it does when that truck up ahead tosses that stone back at you. As long as the car's finish is preserved I don't really care what brand name I got on it.

I used a product from a company called Venture Shield. They claim their adhesive does not yellow like 3M's does (allegedly). I can't speak to that claim but I can tell you that they make a very good product and I am very happy with the finished product. You can run an internet search and evaluate their claims on the website.

if you are still looking, try Nelson at Clear Image in Morristown, NJ. He did two of my cars, two of my brother's, and my dad's. The guy does great work.
