My V1 is hardwired to sit under the passenger visor, but I don't really like the location because it's difficult for me to see the directional arrows. Anyone have a good location [good = discrete but easy for driverto see] for a V1? If so, can you post a pic? Thanks. GBG

For the V1 itself or just the remote display?
IIRC, you can also buy a rear view mirror with the V1 display integrated into it....that's been discussed as well.

Get the remote display and mount it on the steering column.

Here are some ideas. I am thinking rear view mirror install. Are guys running multiple units? I read some where a guy used a remote box up front in the rear and one on the top of the windshield. That seems like a pricey project. I would also like a hidden front rear radar jammer.

Remote Volume Control
Rear View Mirror
Where would you put your jammer though?

I work on an Air Force Base in California and the Base Commander has ruled that Radar and Laser Detectors cannot be on base. I believe they have a seizure clause in the rule. The non-military gate guards just tell us to turn them off while on base. I guess the next step is a K40 or a Calibre DL-P with Laser Defusers.

It's also illegal to speed.
I wonder if having your mirror attached to the windshield is illegal as well?
Seriously though.. do you have a CVC on that?
PS. With the insane amount of radar I've been getting painted with in the last couple of weeks I'm about to knuckle under and replace my Escort 8500 with a V1 to get the freaking arrows. I just wish the remote display, external audio and the overall size of the thing were a little more *reasonable*.
