I don't own a dealership (just a lowly doctor), but I can't see slamming one who won't accept warranty claims on a modded car. Let me clarify that. Some stuff like exhaust or springs would (and should) slip thru, as there is no real tinkering with factory engineering. But, when you up the boost, up the redline, or tinker with mixtures, what is the basis for asserting that the warranty should cover? Clearly, the car didn't go thru it's factory endurance testing with those mods.
I'm uspset that track usage can void warranty at some dealerships (not in my case) as the advertisements still play heavily on track use, or at least did when I bought my car.AS
