Well after 3 PPI on three different cars 2002 and 2001's I finally got one and got home today.
2001 TT
29000 Miles
Seal Grey
Grey interior
Interesting Drive from the MidWest to Vermont but went well
Made offers on three cars but this was the best one hopefully patience will of paid off.
Same year and color as the C4 I sold last month so no one in the neighborhood will be the wiser!
Already ordered:
-New tires
-Shortshifter
-Alum pedals...
-Alum Shifter
Got 3MClearbra yesterday. and it will hibernate for a while.
Still Shopping for Parking Break Lever.

Congrat's on the your new purchase. You're right, the yellow side-markers were standard. Can easily be changed to smoked or clear. I would probably go with smoke in your case considering the color of the car.

Talk to Gino it's a little pricey $375 but you get everything with an estimate to fix everything with part prices and time allocations. Plus the electronic readout with hours and stage 1 & 2 over revs and so forth..
