The Europipe averages 375.1 hp under the curve from 2500-7000 while the Fabspeed Super Sport averages 370.7 hp. In terms of torque, the EP averages 407.3 lb-ft while the Super Sport averages 406.8 lb-ft. (Data from IA exhaust shoot-out).

Dock, where are you getting your data?

From page 13 of IA test:

Europipe 351.0 hp 413.0 tq

Fabspeed Super Sport 376.9 hp 418.3 tq

Not saying the Europipe isn't the better overall exhaust, just that the original Fabspeed is still the king for power gains

I got my data from the same IA test. I just added up the power at each listed rpm marker and divided by 10 (10 = the number of samples listed).

The last column on the page (pg 13) gives you the averages for all the exhausts tested........I'm WAY too lazy to break out the calculator when Stephen did it for me

I'm aware of the last column...It just depends (like many things technical) on how he calculated the "average" numbers. The dyno may have a program that samples power every "X" unit...every 100 rpm, or maybe every 1xrpm. The "average" calculation may have been done by hand versus a computer program. At a sample rate of every 500 rpm, the average is what I posted. If the sample rate is smaller, say every 100 rpm, then we don't have the data presented on that matrix to determine where in the rpm range either car "dipped" between the 500 rpm markers...because there has to be a dip in power between the 500 rpm markers if the average is as listed by IA.

Dang! I thought this thread was a Europipe ad for a second there! Doesn't anybody like CarGraphic anymore? I love mine. The build quality is great, it went on easy, cost hundreds less than the EP, and my car sounds like a damn race car. Yeehaw!

The biggest problem is that if you have an exhaust you are happy with, you certainly are not going to change it. So very few people have had more than one. I will admit I have never met anyone not happy with Europipes.

All true.

I've heard lots of the different exhaust offerings...something going on Porsche group drives will do for you...and I'm still happy with my decision.
