How does one plumb an oil catch can correctly using the stock pcv system? This is a simple question for an expected complicated answer. Positive crankcase ventilation. Cranckcase fumes (oil), caused by blowby, are circulated back into the combustion chamber via the intake manifold or the intake charge upstream of the compressor/intercooler to be burned again. This is done partly for emissions. The catch can would condense the oil from the fumes when placed inline with the pcv system, in order to prevent any oil fumes from going back through the intake. Perhaps someone could provide an emmission control diagram? I would like to learn more about the pcv system, or know if anyone has done such an installation.

All the hoses get routed to the main sump tank and any over-pressure is fed into one line that then enters the air inlet plenum. Which is right behind the MAF and BOV's.. The air is mixed with incoming filtered air thru the MAF and then routed behind the engine and then into both turbochargers..
