Default Ride height pics requested

Just purchased some iforged 19" wheels. Now, I have searched both Rennlist and 6speed for ride heights and didn't find too many measurements. I think I will be going with the H&R C/O's since I read that the PSS9's have had bump stop issues. I dont plan on tracking the car maybe just 2-3 times a year.

Could those of you with 19's and with any type of C/O setup post some pics along with measurements from ground/wheel center to fenderwell. I'm not sure how low I want to put the car and I'm looking for fellow turbo drivers to show me what they have. I have heard lowering 1.5 all the way around on H&R is ok. Is that also true for PSS9 (bump stop issues)?

I know there are many threads on this issue, but mainly looking for pics and ride height measurements so I can decided how much I want to lower the car.

TIA

Chris

Default PSS9's at Road America

PSS9's set at ROW height. I've never measured the hight of the fender lips. Note the gap above the tires and the ground clearance to the Cup Car front brake air defelctors on the lower A arms. No problem with hiting bump stops. That only occurs if you lower outside the range recommended by Bilstein.

Cheers,

Default My JIC CROSS ride height Pics:

I told my mechanic I wanted X-73 ride height; which I understood to
be "kind of halfway" between US stock and GT2.

Here are my pics on my Cross Jic with 19" Champions:

Both cars look good. Woodster do you happen to have any pics from the side a little farther away? TIA

Just a suggestion but rather than a plan to lower 1.5 all around.....you might think about actually specifying the approx height you want (unless you know exactly where you're at now).....then with that approx height set, do your corner balance.

Porsche specs (for US TT, ROW, X73, GT3 & 2) give you a seperate plus and minus range value for the front & rear (so you see the recomended rake, or lack of, which does have some handling affect).
US stock Turbo spec is between 148 & 168 front, and 148 & 168 rear (and so, incredibly high with zero rake).

The same numbers for GT3 are between 102 & 122mm front......115 & 135mm rear.....so pretty low with 10-15mm rake.....X73 is almost as low.
Here's about 109 in the front and 120 in the back on my street summer 19s.
Should remind......measure on all cars (cept GT2) are taken at that bolt head in the front (tension strut screw connection to body) and at that flat spot at the rear sub frame (locating bore on the rear axle side section there bet the toe & camber eccentrics).
Good luck whatever.

No....the way she sits nothing touches.
I've messed with it to get it where she is....we took it up a tad last year, did fender prep when the 19s went on (that offset). Tight suspension, so not alot of travel there.
The set-ups good where she is....not ideal for everyone, I'm happy. Here she is on the track with 18 hollows and R compounds, squatting a bit exiting that turn.
She actually has 17s and 240 WinterSports on her right now (till I get the C4 out....C4s been laid up waiting for new engine.... )

1.25", about 30mm lower than stock is the lowest reccomended height for the PSS9's. This is farely low. It leave a 2 finger width space between the tire and fender....looking for a picture of my setup now.

No, it's dropped 1.25" all around. I've yet to go back to the shop for a tweak of the suspension. I might lower the front just a little to have a small rake in the front.
