P.S. forgot to add...so far as I know ALL C4S in the states anyway had solid spoke wheels.

Thanks for the info, I have a '02 and wondered which wheels I have. I was pleased when I reached around the spoke and felt no grooves.

The easist way to tell the difference at a glance is to look at the valve stem;
Typical Rubber stem = Solid Spoke.
The Hallows have a metal stem that is unmistakable and not interchangable.

Unsprung weight is multipled by 4,so saving weight with wheel is important.

Guess your "Come sense" can tell you the answer to that question as well?

Do the rules about the grooves and valve stems apply to Turbo Look wheels? My 98 RoW C2 came with these from factory and they in fact have smooth rear finish and metal stem valves. I believe they are 7.5"s and 10s (18" diameter of course).

How come you told me to run solid spokes on my Ruf then?

Anyone know the answer to my question? I would get the part numbers off the rims, but the car is in for service for a few days.
